‘I’ve been blessed with this body’: Harrison Ford charmingly comments on shirtless ‘Dial of Destiny’ scene

The Dial of Destiny isn't the only treasure in this film.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny has reared its head at the Cannes Film Festival, and while early reviews aren’t exactly swinging in the whip-happy swansong’s favor, the one thing each one of us can count on from this movie is seeing national treasure Harrison Ford do textbook Harrison Ford things, and that alone will probably be worth its weight in gold.

And apparently, one of those things happens to be a surprise thirst trap courtesy of the man himself.

During a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival, a reporter was all too happy to let Ford know just how gorgeous he was, and how his shirtless scene in Dial of Destiny was a big plus for them in a number of ways (six, to be exact). In response, Ford, in his trademark, delightful, curmudgeonly manner, had the perfect response; “I’ve been blessed with this body.”

We can’t blame this reporter for speaking the truth; at 80 years old, one could make the case that Ford looks even better than he did back during his Kingdom of the Crystal Skull days. At the very least, there’s no denying that the storied actor has aged like the finest possible wine; as expected of someone who once drank from the Holy Grail.

We’ll just have to see if Ford and his legendary abs are enough to prove the critics wrong when Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny releases to theaters on June 30, though we reckon a good old Nazi-punching romp will be more than enough to win the hearts of long-time Indy fans.
