Jesy Nelson fiancé labeled ‘just awful’ mere days after she revealed her twins will ‘probably never walk’

Earlier this month English singer Jesy Nelson revealed the terribly unfortunate news that her seven-month-old twin daughters would never be able to walk after being diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Now rumors are swirling online with reports indicating that Nelson and her fiancé, Zion Foster, may have split, leading fans to brand him “just awful.”

The news of the couple’s break up has already been covered by numerous outlets, although neither Nelson nor Foster have confirmed the split as of writing. The couple were engaged roughly four months ago but allegedly ended their relationship of four years this month according to The Sun. 

The supposed split comes shortly after the heartbreaking news about the SMA diagnosis of Nelson and Foster’s twin daughters. The diagnosis is “every parents worst nightmare,” a life threatening genetic condition that has no cure. This has led to speculation that the life-changing medical news may have played a part in the couple ending their relationship.

After her daughters received the diagnosis, Jesy Nelson began campaigning for awareness surrounding the condition although admitted “it’s hard” while speaking on a UK morning TV show. However, behind the scenes it seems she was apparently dealing with even more hardship as her and Zion Foster worked through a break up.

The internet has not been kind to Foster for seemingly leaving his fiancèe during such an emotionally devastating time. “As soon as I saw that their babies had had a horrific diagnosis, I knew he’d leave her.” Read a response to the video posted by The Sun. Another called him, “Just awful,” and a third wrote, “Some people reveal their true selves in crisis.”

It seems many have assumed that Foster was behind the split after the devastating news about his and Nelson’s children’s diagnosis, however, neither Zion nor Jesy have confirmed what happened yet.

Details regarding the break-up are hazy. Who instigated it? Was it a mutual decision? How are they going to move forward with parenting? The video posted by The Sun revealed that Nelson and Foster are “still really good friends” and that they are “working together” to raise their daughters as best they can.

Zion also made a recent post to his Instagram stories, showing one of his daughters whose name is Story, lying on her stomach while Foster encourages her to push herself up, the caption read “Proud of you always Story Bear my lil fighter.” He has still yet to comment on the apparent break-up between him and Nelson on his social medias.
