John Travolta has big plans for his Super Bowl commercial with Zach Braff and Donald Faison

The commercial has given the actor all the fuel he needs to cook up a future where the trio is working together.

T-Mobile might be responsible for one of the most incredible Super Bowl ads of all time, as John Travolta, Zach Braff, and Donald Faison join forces to play neighbors in a residential area that’s entertainment-powered by the telecommunication giant. While the commercial itself is wowing fans ahead of the big game, Travolta’s commentary regarding everyone’s new favorite trio is where the magic really is.

Speaking to Variety, Travolta said that the dynamic born between the three is something that he isn’t ready to walk away from. In fact, the whole experience has inspired him to channel their energy and do something special with it.

“Chemistry cannot be created. It is or it isn’t. I love the dynamic between the three of us. It’s a special energy. I know it sounds odd, It’s like a special art to do musical comedy and advertising, that has a vibe, a frequency that is different than other types of performance. When I see all three of us together, I feel like we should do something else with this, you know?”

Fans were quick to agree; seeing Travolta, Braff, and Faison doing something together in a more profound fashion would be a dream come true. Could they take a set of stages for an epic three-man show? Will they travel the country for a concert full of spoofs from Grease? Might they surprise us all and write their own music? The possibilities are truly endless.

Travolta mentioned a surprising fact during his chat with Variety: it was the first time he had been asked to spoof a track from the world-famous musical extravaganza.

“The commercial is ‘in keeping with the spirit of the movie,’ as well as being humorous about it. All this is tongue in cheek, which is what I love about it, why I said, ‘Yes.’ It was the first time we’ve ever been asked to use a Grease song and spoof it, to be honest. I’m curious why it hasn’t happened before.”

If just one commercial wasn’t enough for you, not only do we feel you, but we’ve got the solution. T-Mobile knew we’d be begging for more between these three, so they gave us a more extended ad with even more phenomenal conversation, singing, and relatable upset about frustrating internet connections.

If you’ve got the unyielding urge to watch Grease now, we relate but don’t forget that something huge is happening on television tonight. A slew of commercials and movie trailers will be released during the big game, and since we’re missing Joe Burrow on the field, we know that’s where the excitement lies anyway.

In addition to the T-Mobile brilliance, Clueless is taking us back to one of the most significant debates in movie history with a Rakuten commercial, Doritos is reuniting fans with Breaking Bad, and Rihanna is set to take the stage for the half-time show, and wow us all. Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
