Marjorie Taylor Greene calling Democrats ‘psycho’ backfires after a popular podcaster offers the reply of the year

Do you smell that? Oh right, that's Marjorie Taylor Greene getting burned.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - APRIL 04: A fake ad about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is posted at Collect Pond Park ahead of former President Donald Trump's arraignment hearing on April 04, 2023 in New York City. Former President Trump will be arraigned during his first court appearance following an indictment by a grand jury that heard evidence on hush money paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

No one likes a sore loser, but Marjorie Taylor Greene is as sore as they come.

After her inane attempt to protest Donald Trump’s arraignment yesterday in New York, the U.S. Representative (R-GA) gathered in front of her virtual Twitter podium to blast the previous day’s events. And just like her protest, it backfired.

Harkening the spirit of a crazy ex-girlfriend, Greene accused Democrats of being jealous that they “don’t have a Donald Trump.” She said Democrats would do “anything to have him” and that they are “blinded by hate & jealousy and will do anything to stop him because they can’t have him.”

Keep in mind she’s referring to the man who was been impeached twice, who singlehandedly divided a nation and eroded politics (even more than it already was), incited a riot on the U.S. Capitol, contested a fair and democratic election, refused to participate in the peaceful transfer of power, and has since been accused of 34 charges of criminal tax fraud. Sure, yeah, we want that guy.

The cherry on top, though, is the last word in Greene’s tweet: “Psycho.” Not “they’re psycho,” or “Democrats are psycho.” Just “Psycho.” You don’t need to be a psychic (or psycho) to see where this is going.

As swiftly as birds take flight, popular YouTuber, podcaster, and political host, Brian Tyler Cohen, responded to Greene’s tweet with possibly the best reply of the year, writing, “You don’t have to sign your tweets at the end.”

(That sound you hear in the distance is us cackling.)

To truly comprehend the magnitude of Greene’s infantilism here, it’s imperative to recount the previous day’s events: For starters, it was foreshadowed by a public plea of good behavior by NYC Mayor Eric Adams, which to no one’s surprise, fell on deaf ears the moment Greene landed in the Big Apple.

Immediately accusing the city of being overrun with drug addicts and homeless people, Greene then likened the place to a modern-day Gotham City (an oxymoron if there ever was one). To make matters worse (for her), she was met with a crowd of impassioned counter-protesters determined to run her out of New York and back to Georgia. But that’s not all.

Greene’s attempt to protest Trump’s arraignment missed the mark entirely after a crowd of counter-protesters drowned out her deranged squawking by blowing on whistles and banging pots and pans, something Greene was quick to call abuse, which it is not. Not only that, her public temper tantrum was laced with poorly-disguised racist rants that did nothing more than prove how unfit she is for office and how much of a toddler she is

Needless to say, Greene’s actions yesterday along with her childish tweet accomplish the exact opposite of what she was trying to pull off. May we escort you to the loony bin, Marjorie?
