SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA - JULY 19: Mark Hamill accepts the Icon award during the Netflix's "The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance" Panel during 2019 Comic-Con International at San Diego Convention Center on July 19, 2019 in San Diego, California.

Mark Hamill luxuriates in Donald Trump’s downfall by offering his congratulations to E. Jean Carroll

There's no love lost between the 'Star Wars' icon and 'Home Alone 2' star.

He might be one of the most relentlessly upbeat and reliably wholesome celebrity fixtures of social media, but Mark Hamill has never been one to hold back when it comes to making his personal, professional, and political opinions known.

With that in mind, his millions of followers were waiting with bated breath to discover how he would react to the news that a jury had found Donald Trump guilty of the allegations leveled by E. Jean Carroll against the man who inexplicably continues to harbor dreams of running for president again in the 2024 election.

Having already been impeached twice and then indicted on charges of paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels in order to cover up their brief dalliance, even the staunchest of the MAGA-supporting masses must be running out of ways to defend the Home Alone 2 star and WWE Hall of Famer at this point.

Hamill wasn’t quite emboldened to the extent of rubbing salt into a wound that’s already wide open, but he did offer a succinct response that says everything it needed to say and more without requiring anything close to 280 characters.

Of course, things are inevitably about to get even more heated in the political sphere now that Trump has been publicly disgraced yet again, with Carroll due millions of dollars in damages. The entire arena has been sitting on a powderkeg for years, but surely there’s not a chance anyone in their right mind would even consider somebody who keeps on being faced with accusations of breaking the law as the ideal candidate to take charge of the nation.
