MCU newcomer Harrison Ford earns unmovable support for having absolutely no clue who the Red Hulk is

He's simply not bothered.

Hollywood legend Harrison Ford is about to make his long-awaited debut in the immensely popular MCU as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in Captain America: Brave New World next year. But before the Marvel extravaganza officially hits the big screen, reporters and interviewers alike are itching to learn Ford’s thoughts about entering the MCU, and specifically, about Ross’ alter ego Red Hulk. Admittedly, however, Ford simply has no clue what everybody is talking about.

While chatting with ComicBook.com in a recent interview, Ford was asked if eagle-eyed Marvel fanatics could potentially witness the Indiana Jones star as the Red Hulk in future projects. Appearing confused momentarily, Ford followed up by asking exactly what the Red Hulk actually is. Thus, without even trying, Ford created one of the most iconic and memorable moments of 2023. At the same time, it’s certainly worth pointing out that Ford could be acting completely clueless on purpose, just to keep MCU die-hards from speculating too heavily. Then again, considering Ford also didn’t understand what a Force Ghost is while discussing Star Wars lore in a 2020 interview, then there is a strong likelihood that Ford truly doesn’t know who the Red Hulk is, and honestly, he probably isn’t that bothered about it either.

Nevertheless, Ford’s uncertainty about the alter ego persona has earned him plenty of support online, with folks simply aspiring to be as unbothered as him, while others have kindly asked for “nerd” questions to be avoided in Ford’s presence.
