Meghan Markle is terrified Harry will divorce her and believe ‘royals are scheming’ to break them up

Meghan believes King Charles might employ a tactic used by the late Queen Elizabeth to get Harry back into the royal fold.

Meghan Markle is apparently terrified that King Charles and the rest of the royal family are planning to force Harry to divorce her in order to be allowed back into the firm. This comes after a recent meeting between representatives of Harry and Charles earlier this month which reportedly went well.

Sources close to the duchess told RadarOnline.com that she was petrified that King Charles would use an old tactic used by Queen Elizabeth to break up marriages that she disagreed with. Meghan believes that the king may try and bribe Harry with promises of royal reconciliation as long as he breaks up with his wife.

Meghan Markle believes the royals are scheming

According to the source, “She firmly believes the royals are scheming to drive a wedge between her and Harry.” While her husband seems to be doing everything he can to appease his family, it seems as though Meghan is being sidelined and she now fears that if the family get ahold of him she could end up as “collateral damage.”

Insiders claimed that the duchess believed the Palace was trying to bring Harry in while pushing her out which is a similar method used by the late Queen Elizabeth when she orchestrated the divorce of Charles and Diana.

The pace of reconciliation is too fast

Meghan is apparently well aware that rebuilding ties with the royal family is a wise move but the speed at which things are progressing has left the duchess rattled. A main point of concern for her is the shift in the power dynamic between the pair which has seen Harry become more independent from her, even embarking on a solo trip and disappearing for a few days without contacting her.

“She feels like things are slipping out of her hands, especially now that Harry’s calling the shots without checking in with her the way he once did.”

At this point Harry’s royal return is looking more and more likely, but whether he’ll be accompanied by Meghan or not remains to be seen. She reportedly “made it clear to him that he has to respect their partnership and not shut her out of these decisions,” but will Harry respect her wishes? Or will the pull of royal life be too strong?

Meghan’s fears aren’t entirely unfounded considering this has happened before. On top of that Palace insiders have previously claimed that significant royal figures such as Prince William and Kate Middleton may be able to accept Harry’s return but only without his wife.

Even Harry seems to have an inkling that he’ll have to choose between one or the other. Meghan caused a great deal of disruption prior to their royal exit and while Harry also played a part in that it seems a lot of the blame for the last several years of drama has fallen on her shoulders.
