Nicki Minaj’s former musical collaborators scrub all evidence of their work together as rapper goes ‘all in’ with Donald Trump

Nicki Minaj is torching her reputation.

Nicki Minaj is setting fire to her own legacy as she essentially gets into bed with the Trump crowd. The world-famous rapper has publicly voiced her support for the president and on Thursday made an appearance at an event where she got up on stage with Donald Trump. Now her former music collaborators are removing their music from platforms like Spotify.

Huge musical stars have removed songs featuring Minaj from streaming platforms, presumably to distance themselves from the musician who has fallen out of public grace in recent years. The song “Dumb Blonde” by Avril Lavigne and featuring Nicki Minaj is reportedly no longer available on music streaming services for some users.

Another musician who seems to be distancing herself from Minaj is none other than Mariah Carey, who’s song, “Up Out my Face” saw a remixed Minaj version released in 2010. However, the song has also been scrubbed from streaming platforms for many.

While these songs haven’t been completely erased from music streaming platforms (in some cases they can still be found) it shows that many disagree with Minaj’s politics to the point that they no longer want to even be associated with the rapper any longer. People have been calling her out for a while and now her public support of Trump has gone too far for many.

What did Nicki Minaj do?

On Thursday night Minaj was filmed showing up to the premiere of the Melania movie as per TMZ. The musician was pictured socializing with the likes of Don Jr., and other notable MAGA figures before joining Trump on stage and shaking his hand. Later that day she shared a photo of a gold card she was given by the president and informed fans she was finalizing her paperwork to become an American citizen.

Her staunch MAGA stance has turned a lot of fans sour on her. In case you haven’t been paying attention, Trump is a pretty bad guy and a terrible president, so Minaj’s support for him and his ilk is disappointing to say the least. However, many suspect she has ulterior, more selfish, reasons for getting into bed with Trump.

An appropriate clip of Don Lemon calling out Minaj’s hypocrisy was shared in response to her latest public appearance. In it, Lemon suggests that her support for Trump is “because she possibly believes it’s a place of redemption for her husband and brother both on the list.” He went on to point out that her brother is reportedly a pedophile, and her husband is allegedly a sex offender.

Lemon also pointed out that Minaj herself is allegedly an undocumented immigrant which seems to have been confirmed by her claiming she was filing her citizenship paperwork. In that case she should have even more reason to be against Trump and MAGA, not for it.
