Police arrives at disgraced Prince Andrew’s home, forces him to surrender yet another honor he cherishes

More consequences for Prince Andrew over his connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew has found himself facing yet another blow to his ego as the 65-year-old has had to surrender his firearms after police paid a visit to his home.

The disgraced royal has been caught in a downward spiral ever since his connection to the notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein became public knowledge. This is just the latest in many significant blows to his pride.

According to an article from The Sun, Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles earlier this year, agreed to give up his certificate allowing him to use the guns he keeps in his home. While he will be able to keep a hold of them he will be under strict supervision, he will only be allowed to use or transport his weapons if he is accompanied.

This is more bad news for Prince Andrew

According to sources close to the prince, this fresh development will likely affect Andrew negatively as he was reportedly quite fond of using his guns. He regularly hosted shooting parties at Windsor and other royal estates although he hasn’t been seen at such events since he was stripped of his royal titles earlier in the year.

“He will be under strict supervision. It is a real blow.” The unnamed source told The Sun. Andrew owns quite the vast collection of guns but a Met police spokesperson confirmed recently that he had agreed to new restrictions on his weapon use last month.

“On Wednesday November 19, firearms licensing officers attended an address in Windsor to request that a man in his 60s voluntarily surrender his firearms and shotgun certificate… The certificate was surrendered, and we will not be commenting any further at this stage.”

Currently it isn’t exactly clear why Andrew’s gun certificate has been taken away. Whether he’s a threat to himself or others is a mystery due to his now very reclusive nature.

Things have been downhill since Epstein

It’s been a tough year for Andrew, although he’s hardly garnering any sympathy. His connections to Jeffrey Epstein and the allegation made against the prince by the late Virginia Giuffre have left him with next to nothing. However, he has nobody to blame for that but himself. Even after allegations against the New York financier first emerged, Andrew refused to cut ties and now he’s paying the price.

While Andrew isn’t currently being investigated he has done all he can to avoid being questioned by authorities on the matter. Even his own brother, King Charles III, seems to be trying to oust him, pressuring the prince to vacate the royal lodge. Things aren’t looking much brighter for his future either as rumors suggest Prince William would be even more forceful in trying to remove Andrew.
