After a gripping two seasons, fans are eagerly waiting for the iconic trio to return to the screen and reprise their respective roles as murder investigators, especially when the last season of Only Murders in the Building ended on a cliffhanger.
The teaser, which was released on March 15, gave a glimpse of what to expect, and to the much amazement and delight, Meryl Streep is gracing the screen as another important character.
This isn’t the first time the series has invited big names, as in the previous seasons we got acquainted with some well-known A-listers like Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, and Jane Lynch, to name a few.
The only piece of knowledge that we have is that it’s going to release sometime in the summer. Well, there’s an update for the fans on that front as star Selena Gomez posted a photo on Instagram with Meryl Streep, announcing that the season’s been wrapped up.
The post displays both Gomez and Streep smiling at each other, and in the caption underneath, the “Calm Down” singer expressed her admiration for Streep, who she’s always looked up to.
With an approaching new season, it will be exciting how it fares against its predecessors.
