A dad joke is helping Stephen King learn the truth about Jesus

Learning is a lifelong process.

He retweeted fellow novelist Ray Garton, who tweeted that it must be hard for Jesus, the savior of the Christian religion, to get anything done because he’s always getting lost.

Listen, no one’s arguing the validity of the joke is up there with Richard Pryor’s material, but the chuckle-inducing aphorism was good enough to elicit a response from one of the most successful authors of all time.

“I hadn’t thought of it that way, but yeah,” King said. “Yeah!” This of course elicited some fun responses from people, including the following cartoon.

Someone else tagged prolific fantasy writer Neil Gaiman. Cause why not?

The inevitable Forrest Gump reference.

Here’s the paradox laid out in terms everyone can understand. Who found who?

A little sacrilege never hurt anyone.

This person could care less about the Jesus thing. Just write this book I want!

Well finally someone said it.

Finally, the truth.

Well, the mystery isn’t solved but it’s good to have some fun with it every now and then. Until next time, King lovers.
