Stephen King perfectly lays out how Donald Trump could have avoided his indictment

Legendary horror author Stephen King has some savvy advice for recently indicted former president Donald Trump, who is unlikely to take it.

American novelist Stephen King reveals a masterful move former U.S. president Donald Trump could have used to avoid indictment for paying hush money to adult film entertainer Stormy Daniels and over 30 counts of business fraud by a Manhattan grand jury.

The King of Horror posted a succinct tweet expressing a point of view many people on both sides of the political aisle could agree with.

It’s funny how the old keeping-it-in-your-pants gambit never fails any married person who would prefer not to leave a $130, 000 paper trail of cash paid to keep a sordid act of infidelity out of the press and from their spouse.

Trump seems to exist in a dysfunctional dynamic reminiscent of HBO’s Succession, where his transgressions are either overlooked or tolerated as those around him clamor for his favor. Some tweets took the gloves off.

But what is truly alarming is that the denial required to overlook the inexecusable behavior of the former president extends to his supporters, who may find it too painful to reflect on the conduct they have willingly turned a blind eye to.

The testimony of 26 women who came forward to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct is dismissed because to acknowledge it would mean that the man they revere has no place on any pedestal. His lewd comments to Billy Bush about Arianne Zucker and women in general is minimized and reframed as “locker room talk.” His history of infidelity in his marriages to the various Mrs. Trumps is either repudiated or justified.

In Stephen King’s tweet he suggested Donald Trump try something he is unlikely to pull off in his lifetime: respect women.
