Stormy Daniels shares what is way more fun than being ‘under arrest’ like Donald Trump

Touché, Ms Daniels.

It’s a historic day today for former President Donald Trump and the nation as a whole as he’s arraigned today, and the woman partially responsible for the charges, a porn actress named Stormy Daniels, is having a bit of fun with the whole thing.

Trump is accused of falsifying business records to cover up a $130,000 payment to the actress so she would keep quiet about the affair as Trump was running for President in 2016.

Predictably, Daniels has been the target of horrific attacks from Republican Party-affiliated trolls and Trump supporters as a whole. She’s been taking the whole thing in stride, however, and she took to Twitter and used people’s attacks as a comeback.

Daniels playfully shared that even though people are using a derogatory colloquialism to insult her, it doesn’t really bother her; she says she’d much rather be “under [her] sexy man” than “under arrest.”

Daniels has been using the publicity and opportunity to sell her wares through her website and on social media. Self righteous Trump supporters love to use words like “a great evil” and “the devil” to describe her and the proceedings, even though Trump is exactly as culpable in that department.

It’s not surprising, though, that truth gets muddied by self-righteous belief. Someone tweeted: “These are the evil forces going against President @realDonaldTrump. God bless President Trump! God Bless MAGA! We will prevail! TRUMP 2024!”

Do these people think just repeating dumb catchphrases loudly will magically make 34 felony counts disappear? Sounds like they’re about to learn how “thoughts and prayers” really work.

Regardless, Daniels has proved an ability to be witty online in response to her trolls, as well as add a bit of levity to the whole thing. Her response to the tweet: “Thanks for reminding me! I still have a few of these handmade Palo Santo candles for sale! They smell wonderful and cleanse the space of negative energy.”

Maybe she’ll run for President one day.
