Swifties can own a piece of Taylor Swift history but it will cost you millions

"I'd never walk Cornelia Street again."

If you’re a fan of Taylor Swift‘s Lover album, this piece of Swifty history is worth investing in if you can afford it. The ‘Cornelia Street’ Townhouse she rented in 2016 has been listed for sale, but for a pretty steep price tag.

Referenced in the song ‘Cornelia Street,’ this 4-bedroom townhouse in New York’s West Village has a heavy price tag of $17,995,000. The property was previously listed to rent for a whopping $45,000 a month if unfurnished, and an extra $5,000 if furnished. Interesting how this property is now being sold during the middle of the singer’s Era’s Tour.

TMZ reported that this iconic 5,500-square-foot property features more than just a luxurious living space. It also has a rooftop terrace, an indoor pool, and amazing views of downtown. The property also features a library and three gas fireplaces. And the fact that Swift lived there for a short period of time, will probably add some novelty value.

According to the Wall Street Journal, since Swift stayed in the property, the NYC townhouse was made all the more valuable to the point where it was used for multiple promotional events. Swift rented this townhouse in 2016 for the price of $39,500 a month. It was also rumored that the song ‘Cornelia Street’ was inspired by Swift’s relationship with Joe Alwyn, to the point where fans visited the property when the news of their breakup began.

The property still hasn’t sold so it’s still up for grabs for any wealthy Swifties, which is possible considering how expensive aftermarket Eras tour tickets were.
