Tekashi 6ix9ine’s mother was held captive by gunmen. Surveillance footage reveals what they were really looking for

What a scary situation.

New security footage has revealed the terrifying details of the home invasion at Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Florida home, showing four gunmen ransacking the place while holding his 60-year-old mother captive. This incident shows just how scary things got for his mom, who was trapped inside with the family dog as the chaos began.

TMZ obtained the surveillance video, which confirms the intruders slipped into the residence through the garage. You can clearly see the intense confrontation as Tekashi’s mother comes face-to-face with the burglars. It’s absolutely heartbreaking to watch; her voice was reportedly shaking as she begged and pleaded with the masked men while the confused family dog ran around nearby.

The criminals weren’t just focused on grabbing items; they made sure they had control over the resident. One of the gunmen stayed posted up on the mother, acting as a “mom chaperone,” while the others tore through the home looking for valuables. If you’re watching the footage, you can see how unsettling this level of control is. This chaperone grabbed her hand and steered her around the house, ensuring she couldn’t move or call for help after the break in.

Tekashi’s mom was held hostage during an awful break in

What’s truly chilling is the detail that shows exactly what these guys were focused on. At one point, the chaos spilled outside, and the chaperone was seen walking her out, with the dog trotting along behind them. However, something must have caught the gunman’s eye because he immediately walked her right back inside. This suggests their priority wasn’t to take her hostage or harm her directly, but to secure their target items while keeping her contained.

This is awful for the family; knowing your loved one was being physically controlled like that is a violation. We know what the gunmen were really after, thanks to statements from law enforcement. The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the intruders were specifically asking for cash and car keys. This detail explains why the gunman’s attention shifted so quickly; the mission was a smash-and-grab focused on liquid assets and quick transportation.

The situation escalated quickly, and before long, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office swarmed the place. They brought in a K-9 unit to search for the suspects, but unfortunately, they came up empty. Police believe the four gunmen may have sped off in a getaway car before officers could arrive on the scene.

It’s a terrible situation, and you’ve got to feel for Tekashi’s mother, who had to endure such a terrifying ordeal in her own home. The rapper had been attacked before, but break ins may be another form of targetting.
