The opinion the world was waiting for finally arrives after Nicki Minaj comments on missing Titanic submersible

Not exactly a world-renowned expert, is she?

The search for the missing Titan submersible that vanished while embarking on a journey to reach the sunken wreckage of the Titanic is still ongoing, but there hasn’t been anything approaching a concrete update for several hours now.

Various stories have emerged in the days since word first broke the tourist vessel was missing, from the revelation the craft was piloted by a third-party Xbox controller to James Cameron’s technical advisor on Titanic offering his two cents on the matter before stating in no uncertain terms that he would be declining interviews, but was anyone really asking for Nicki Minaj to comment?

No offense intended to the musical superstar, but she’s not exactly qualified to offer her own thoughts on an ongoing investigation that most recently generated reports of “banging sounds” being picked up by search and rescue crews desperately trying to discover not just where the Titan is, but how it ended up in its current predicament with an estimated 20 hours or so of oxygen left.

Nonetheless, Minaj opted to throw her hat into the ring and say her piece anyway on her radio show Queen Radio, which obviously isn’t approached from a place of nous or scientific know-how.

“No one should be hopping they ass on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic. I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams. I just hope everyone stays safe.”

At least she’s sending good vibes out there, even if her assessment that people shouldn’t be “hopping they ass on a submarine” seems in bad taste while things remain unresolved for now.
