The Super Bowl gets YouTube treatment thanks to KSI and Logan Paul

Even the Super Bowl can't escape the power of YouTube.

YouTube boxing rivals KSI and Logan Paul have teamed up to release their own sports drink, and of course, they’d also drop an ad during the Super Bowl. However, unlike other ads that go for the extravagance and go all out on their 30 seconds of fame, these YouTubers did what they do best and made their sports drink ad somewhat reminiscent of a YouTube video.

Prime Hydration managed to get an ad slot in this year’s Super Bowl event and the video is a mix of a generic sports drink advertising style and a YouTube vlog that we’re all familiar with. Crowd shots of fans holding the products, with KSI and Logan in their podcast set are seen promoting the drink, whilst also including fast cuts to the product.

Unlike most Super Bowl ads, fans outside of the US can watch the Super Bowl Prime Hydration commercial right now on YouTube.

The ad was praised for being the “first creator-led brand” to run a Super Bowl commercial, which is a huge step for YouTube creators and how far their reach could go. Meanwhile, fans who managed to catch the ad on TV were filled with excitement to see their favorite YouTubers on screen.

Asides from the Super Bowl, both YouTubers are currently in Sydney, Australia, promoting the drink and hosting a meet & greet near one of the local supermarkets in the city. Local news outlets reported roads being blocked by fans in hopes to meet their favorite creators and get their hands on the drink themselves.

Prime Hydration is not just an energy drink made by two YouTubers. It’s also the official sports drink of the UFC. According to the official website, the product was first released in 2022, with plans to sell the product worldwide.
