And finally – finally – it seems she has found the one, and trust me, we Swifties have been twirling our thumbs in anticipation as she practically creates couple goals with Travis Kelce. But never in our wildest dreams did we envision them tying the knot in 2025.
Okay, yes, we have been daydreaming, and yes, there are some wild fanfictions out there fantasizing about that very day. But we hardly expected Taylor Swift to get married quietly and keep it under wraps – at least that’s what it looked like to half the Swifties out there when event planner Ellie Nottoli, posted the “personalized touches” at Chicago Bears player Cole Kmet’s wedding to Emily Jarosz.
The details? Of course, the couple was on the guest list, and each guest was given an envelope addressed to them and including love notes by the bride. The particular letter that has kickstarted the frenzy was – wait for it – addressed to “Taylor and Travis Kelce” and assigning them the “Table 13” (Swift’s favorite number, FYI).
Yep, not “Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.” Just the Kelces.
As expected, Swiftie or not, the social media world didn’t disappoint.
Of course, amid the chaos, a few voices of reason spoke up.
Another fact that diluted that fat grain of salt accompanying this update? The couple wasn’t even at the wedding. They were busy attending Kelce’s cousin Tanner Corum’s wedding in Knoxville, Tenn.
Well, while the possibility of Taylor getting hitched and keeping the big news under wraps is pretty low, it is not impossible. Celebs have been known to get married in secret, despite their very public and very PDA-filled relationship – Jay-Z and Beyonce, anyone? So, what is stopping Taylor from taking a step back from the limelight?
