Tim Allen’s pitch for a new Batman villain is the stalest joke imaginable

Tim Allen tried to diss Joe Biden with the same old tired joke.

For some reason, conservative-leaning comedians seem to think that jokes are a thing of the past, and real comedy lies in the joy of “trolling the libs.” Tim Allen falls into this category. Whether he’s kvetching about having to pay taxes, or in this case “making fun” of Joe Biden, his takes are pretty blatant attempts to appeal to a conservative base.

His latest joke is such a whiff. It’s tired, lazy, and doesn’t provide anything surprising. He just posted a picture of Joe Biden and called him a Batman villain called “The shuffler.” Get it? Because he’s old, and also the Riddler. Allen’s joke is that Joe Biden is old. That’s like making a joke about how water is wet.

Maybe when you get millions of dollars, you don’t have to try and be funny anymore? Honestly, it sounds kind of nice. Look, Joe Biden is old, we get it. Snore. Maybe it’s because he couldn’t Home Improvement-style grunt his way out of this one?

Here’s another Tim Allen Twitter classic:

“Leaks, whistleblowers, crybabies. Everything in a gummie. Adults becoming children, children expected to process adults themes. Lost sheep. No coherent sustained moral compass. And that’s just yesterday.” Honestly, I have no idea what this means. Does anyone?

In better Allen news, he announced that season two of his classic Christmas show The Santa Clauses just wrapped. He shared a photo of himself in character getting a much needed Santa shave down.

Finally, an Allen we can all kind of like. Just stick to what you’re good at, Tim – making duffel bags of money and then complaining about it. Maybe if Tim Allen was a Batman villain he’d be called “The Crybaby.”

The first season of The Santa Clauses is streaming on Disney Plus.
