‘We’re done for a while’: Brittany Mahomes says three kids are enough after making her pregnancies competitive

Three’s the magic number, at least for now.

Kansas City’s current co-owner, Brittany Mahomes, who has faced backlash over her friendship with Taylor Swift, recently shared insights… about her approach to childbirth and future family plans during her appearance on the WHOOP podcast. The 29-year-old mother of three discussed her competitive nature when it comes to labor, revealing how she kept track of and aimed to improve her pushing times with each delivery.

In her conversation with WHOOP founder and CEO Will Ahmed, Mahomes detailed her determination to enhance her birthing experience with each child. She maintained records of her labor duration, constantly challenging herself to beat her previous times, which ranged from seven to five minutes.

According to People, “We’re done for a while,” Mahomes stated firmly when asked about having more children. “Three. I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.” The statement came after welcoming her third child, daughter Golden Raye, in January 2024.

Family life and recent public appearances show the growing Mahomes family

Brittany and her husband, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are parents to three children: four-year-old Sterling Skye, two-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, and their newest addition, Golden Raye. The couple has been balancing their professional commitments with family life, as evidenced by their recent public appearances.

The family was recently spotted at the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic, an event organized by Patrick’s 15 and the Mahomies Foundation. The tournament, held at Shadow Creek Golf Course from May 14 to May 16, provided an opportunity for family bonding, with Brittany sharing photos of their time together on social media.

During the golf outing, the couple was seen with their children, and Brittany’s public outings with Taylor Swift have only fueled more attention from fans and critics alike, though baby Golden’s face was kept private in the shared images. The event showcased the family’s involvement in both charitable activities and recreational sports, with most family members participating in golfing activities.

The Mahomes family has maintained a balance between public appearances and private family moments, selectively sharing glimpses of their life while protecting their children’s privacy. Their approach to family planning and parenting continues to draw public interest, especially as Brittany is often featured in celebrity pop culture lists, particularly as they navigate life in the spotlight while raising their three young children.
