What did Justin Bieber’s dad say about Pride Month?

The internet confers the title 'Nepo Dad' on notorious mooch Jeremy Bieber after insensitive tweet about Pride.

Jeremy Bieber, the father of Justin Bieber, landed in some hot water due to his ignorant comments about Pride month.

TMZ reports that the infamous freeloader took to Twitter to express the shockingly ignorant opinion that LGBTQ+ people should spend Pride expressing gratitude to heterosexuals for the spaces they occupy.

His offensive comments about Pride are more evidence of his callous attitude toward others and his lack of understanding of basic human rights.

In response to Jeremy’s tweet, the internet christened him “Nepo Dad.”

Shortly after his son Justin was born in 1994, Jeremy abandoned the child and his mother for a year without adequate financial support. He resurfaced a year later and was an erratic presence during the pop star’s childhood. People have a long memory.

However, Jeremy suddenly took an avid and opportunistic interest in his son when Justin became famous. He was frequently criticized for enabling and participating in Justin’s substance abuse. The internet remembered that, too.

One Redditor called the senior Bieber out on his lack of parenting skills and appallingly shameless grift.

Another Redditor suggests people only know who Jeremy Bieber is, is because of an unplanned pregnancy.

Sadly, Nepo Dad’s inane Pride tweet is consistent with his decades of troubling behavior. Jeremy has repeatedly shown a disturbing disregard for the dignity of people and pets alike. From his alleged assault of teenager Alicia Wadden, to concerning claims of animal abuse in 2014.

Incredibly, Jeremy managed to expanded his collection of family units. Today, he has three additional children making him a middle aged father of four children by three different women. In true grown boy style, he failed to formulate an adequate apology, and posted a self-pitying tweet:

“Acknowledging the nuclear family is offensive? My apologies to those offended. Was not my intent. Not that my opinion matters.”

He has since deleted his post and reverted back to his habit of mooching on his famous son.
