Who did Kurt Cobain’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain marry?

Truly a couple that'll warm the heart of any '90s punk kid.

The grunge scene, and the music industry as a whole was absolutely shaken when news broke that Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain had taken his life in 1994. He left behind not only his bandmates, friends, and adoring fans – but his and Courtney Love’s daughter Frances Bean Cobain, who was around two years old at the time.

Nevertheless, Cobain’s legacy has managed to endure to this day – Nirvana remains a household name for grunge and rock fans, the band’s drummer Dave Grohl soared to new heights by forming the Foo Fighters, and Smells Like Teen Spirit is still a banger. All these years later, Frances Bean Cobain is all grown up – and now married.

Who is Frances Bean Cobain’s spouse?

Frances Bean Cobain recently got hitched to none other than Tony Hawk’s son, Riley Hawk. That’s right, the progeny of one of the most influential rock artists married the offspring of arguably the world’s most well-known skater.

Frances doesn’t seem to have strayed all that far from the scene her father grew up in. Now, that statement may be a bit of a stretch, but anyone who played a Tony Hawk game in the ‘90s and ‘00s will tell you that without a shadow of a doubt, that skating culture goes hand in hand with rock and punk music.

While the pair have been somewhat out of the spotlight of the greater public in recent years, Frances has enjoyed a career as an artist and model, and even had a guest judge spot during season four of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Riley, meanwhile, followed in his father’s footsteps and also became a pro skater, and is even a playable character in the remastered versions of the beloved Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video games we all grew up with.
