Are Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey married?
“We were like, boom, boom, boom. We’re in sync,” the actress recalled on the SmartLess podcast. “We’re not 20 anymore — we were like, ‘We doing this or not?’” Cuoco also revealed that she and Pelphrey would like to have more children in the future. “Our relationship has survived because we have all this help with this baby. My mom is the best, and actually, so is Tom’s mom. They come in, they help, they don’t overstep. … We’re very lucky.” As of writing, the pair haven’t tied the knot in an official capacity.
The name Tom Pelphrey may not ring a bell, but you know the face. The actor has been a TV regular since he debuted as Jonathan Randall on the soap opera Guiding Light in 2004. He earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for his performance, and graduated to increasingly better parts on shows like Banshee, Iron Fist, and, most notably, Ozark.
Pelphrey played Ben Davis on Ozark, and his magnetic presence earned him nominations for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. Not many actors go from Daytime Emmy to Primetime Emmy, but the New Jersey native did just that, and his career is thriving as a result.
Pelphrey recently starred in the HBO miniseries Love and Death. He played Don Crowder, the attorney who died under mysterious circumstances after defending real-life murder suspect Candy Montgomery (Elizabeth Olsen). He will next appear in the Netflix series A Man In Full opposite Jeff Daniels and Diane Lane.
Pelphrey has been open about the struggle to maintain a busy work schedule with a partner and newborn at home. “All I want to do is sit at home with Kaley and the baby and never leave the house,” he told E! Online. Still, he acknowledges that it’s the best possible struggle to have. “It’s a miracle,” he gushed. “We’re so happy.”
