If you’re a fan of country music, then the name Morgan Wade will definitely ring a bell. Having released a couple of notable songs which became quickly rose to popularity, Wade cemented her status her one of the most well-known and sought-after country singers of all time.
Today, she is synonymous with talents in country music, and her rise to fame has an interesting background. Born in Floyd, Virginia, Wade started her first band The Stepbrothers when she was in college by recruiting members from Craiglist, with her breakup from a former boyfriend the major inspiration behind the band’s formation.
Turning her emotions into songs, she intended to win him back or bitterly criticize him. “I’ll either tick him off really good or win him back,” was what she said in her 2019 interview with The Ties That Bind Us on the subject. However, music was always an integral part of Wade’s life, having been making music from a very young age, as she revealed to Wonderland Magazine.
“I’ve been writing songs for as long as I can remember. I started playing the violin at the age of seven, and eventually stopped and moved on to the guitar. I started playing music live when I was 19, and I’ve been doing it ever since.”
Notwithstanding her association with country music, the 28 year-old singer also confirmed to Rolling Stone her intention of not exclusively sticking to the genre, as in the future she would also consider expanding her talents to pop and rock.
Her talent as a renowned musical artist also earned her a lot of unexpected fan following, and one of them is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards.
Wade and Richard’s friendship, explained
Richard and Wade met after the former confessed to having fallen in love with the singer’s music, later claiming to have stalked her on Instagram.
“I stalked @morganwademusic on IG after listening to her music while driving solo from Utah to Colorado while making #housewivesofthenorthpole & today we met up in person for the 1st time. The most unlikely of friendships some may think but kinship knows no boundaries.”
Later, both of them started spending a lot of time together with Wade inviting Richards to accompany her to Americana Music Awards and iHeart Radio Music Festival. Their whereabouts are regularly posted on social, and as recently as last week, Richards shared a picture of the duo in gym.
Many people might deem their friendship a little unlikely, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is one of them with a similar opinion. “The most unlikely of friendships some may think but kinship knows no boundaries,” is what Richards shared on Instagram about their unexpected, budding friendship.
