Actress, rancher, model, and powerhouse extraordinaire — Nicole Muirbrook has an impressive list of accolades that show her very nature is a force to be reckoned with, and as the wife of Taylor Sheridan, it makes sense that she’s someone as talented and strong as she is beautiful and brave.
Muirbrook and Sheridan met when she was an actress, looking for a coach to help her hone in on her craft, and their lives looked much different when their paths first crossed. After years of hard work and diving into projects that allowed them to put their passions first, they’ve created an incredible life with one another. From ranch life to the entertainment industry, they’re a power couple first and foremost, and the love they share is equally as ardent.

Who is Nicole Muirbrook?
Nicole Muirbrook was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 19, 1983, and she spent her childhood and teenage years on her grandparents’ farm, learning the ins and outs of ranch life and spending a lot of time “in the dirt” and with the animals who lived on the land. As a teenager, she was scouted by NEXT modeling agency, but she never saw the career as something she desired. Referring to herself as a tomboy, she didn’t feel like the model life was a perfect fit.
Eventually, Muirbrook would give modeling a chance, and she excelled at it, naturally. Appearing on covers of Vogue and Marie Claire, among many others, she traveled the world as a model and had experiences of a lifetime while she did. She eventually settled in Los Angeles, however, and worked herself into the career of acting, which is where, as we said above, she met Sheridan.
Speaking to Cowgirl Magazine, she talks about how different their lives were at the beginning:
“At the time it was like ‘let’s just make enough to pay a mortgage or rent or food.’ We were literally starving. That’s when Taylor started writing, and two years later, we were at the Oscars … I still can’t believe it.”
That’s right, the powerhouse of a couple only grew more incredible together as Sheridan began writing hit films and TV series like his powerful Yellowstone, which inspired an entire universe — the Yellowverse.
Muirbrook isn’t just a supportive and inspirational wife to Sheridan; she walks the walk alongside him. She’s a cowgirl through and through, and she still competes to this day in various competitions revolving around reining and cutting. As People Magazine reports, in 2020, she won the Careity Foundation’s Celebrity Cutting competition, which also served to raise money for cancer research.
Marrying Sheridan in 2013, the pair have spent many years together; the couple has a son named Gus, and they also own two working ranches in Texas. Their farm is full of many animals, as Muirbrook has a heart for rescuing them; they’ve got 12 dogs, cats, and some chickens, all because of her rescue efforts — something she feels blessed to be able to do.
Her grace and brilliance are evident in the snaps she shares of her life with Sheridan, and her work ethic is just as admirable. Muirbrook is, as we said before, a powerhouse in her own right, and paired with her husband — the love of her life — they’re quite the unstoppable force.
