Burglar throws rock at window thinking he’ll smash through. What happens next is instant karma at its finest

A man trying to rob a restaurant in Suitland, Maryland ended up hurting himself in the worst way possible. Police in Prince George’s County shared security camera video from September 20 that shows the whole thing happening. The man broke into a carryout shop on Suitland Road, and what followed was one of the most unlucky moments anyone has ever seen.

The burglar used a brick or a big rock to break the front window of the restaurant. He got inside without any problems. Once he was in, he went after another window that was protecting the cash register area. He tried to break this window too using the same brick he had used before.

What he did not realize was that this window was not like the first one. The man threw his brick at the glass one time, and it did not break. He threw it a second time, and still nothing happened. When he threw it the third time, the brick came flying back at him and hit him right in the face, as per WMAR2News. He fell down hard and stayed on the floor for a good few minutes before he finally got up and ran away.

You have to feel a little bad for this guy but also not really

Police started calling him the “Bad Luck Bandit” after they saw what happened. The whole thing was caught on camera from start to finish. He laid there on the restaurant floor looking like he was in serious pain before he decided to give up and leave. The window he was trying to break was made of bulletproof glass, which is why his brick kept bouncing back. While this burglar learned his lesson the hard way, other people have had shocking revelations about their past that changed everything.

After the video came out, police asked people to help them find the man. They wanted anyone who might know him or anyone who saw someone with a bad head injury around that time to call them. Bulletproof glass is made to stop things from going through it. When something hits it hard, the glass absorbs the hit and sends whatever hit it flying back. This is exactly what happened to the burglar. Stores that deal with money or are in areas with a lot of crime often use this type of glass. In this situation, it did exactly what it was supposed to do.

After police put the video online, lots of people watched it and shared it. Many people said it was a perfect example of getting what you deserve. The man basically defeated himself without anyone else having to do anything. Sometimes things work out in strange ways, and this was definitely one of those times. 

Just like this burglar’s surprising outcome, there have been other unusual stories recently, including twin girls who were born with birthmarks in the same places their deceased sisters had scars. When the video was released, police were still looking for the man and hoping someone would recognize him. The case is still being worked on by the Prince George’s County Police Department.
