Several signs show that interest in Vegas is going down. Hotel bookings have dropped, and tourists from important countries like Canada have mostly stopped coming.

Because of this, Las Vegas hotels are trying hard to get people to stay while still making money. From 2015 to 2025, hotel prices in Las Vegas went up by almost 70%, according to The Street. At the same time, some hotels started offering deals with up to half off to bring people back to the city.

But what do guests actually get when they book a hotel on the Strip? Depending on which hotel they choose, they might be let down. According to Bro Bible, a TikTok user recently shared some troubling details about one particular hotel.

A long-time employee reveals the truth about Circus Circus

TikTok user @sincitybornandraised posted a video that has gotten over 37,000 views. In it, he says he recently talked to a Circus Circus employee who has worked there for at least 20 years. The employee told him that Circus Circus is “on its last leg” and has become a tough place to work. 

According to the worker, the hotel isn’t spending money on materials or things employees need to do their jobs properly. Problems exist everywhere in the hotel.

The employee, who works as a porter, said that deliveries get stolen frequently. He also mentioned that the hotel has become popular with sex workers because the room prices are so low. 

The TikToker said the employee told him that security and management both know about this, but let it happen because it brings in business. This isn’t the first time Las Vegas businesses have faced payment controversies that left customers filing complaints.

The TikToker also shared that there are possible security problems because the hotel doesn’t have enough security staff. On top of that, the employee claimed the hotel is “falling apart.” Things are literally being held together with tape.

He believes major work needs to happen to fix these issues. Someone needs to invest money in the property, or they should tear it down and build something completely new.

Either way, something needs to change because the situation is getting really bad. Safety concerns at Las Vegas properties aren’t new, as visitors have experienced terrifying incidents at other Strip locations that made headlines recently.
