Woman fired for racist outburst at Somali muslim couple — then somehow raises almost $100K

She reached the fundraising goal in only a matter of hours.

If you log onto Go Fund Me at any moment in time, you’ll find plenty of people going through life’s tragedies, like health scares, missing persons, and everything in between. But somewhere in the midst of all these mishaps there is also a Wisconsin former Cinnabon employee who is asking for $100,000 because she lost her job for calling a Somali couple racial epithets on Tiktok. The crazy part is, she was able to raise it all in just a couple of days.

The story broke after it went viral on Tiktok. It also doesn’t help that it’s coming right on the heels of President Trump having such a heated spat with Rep. Ilhan Omar and a general disdain for immigrants in general, unless they are the white farmers of South Africa, of course. The animosity has now gotten to everyday citizens who are unfortunately expressing outright racism that has no place in society in 2025.

The Tiktok video starts in medias res, a Cinnabon employee is shouting the N-word at the person holding the camera while admitting that yes, she is a racist. These are all things that people used to be so ashamed of — and even members of the Ku Klux Klan would routinely deny they’re racist, instead preferring some pseudoscience to justify their white nationalism. But this is an era where the president openly embraces figures like Nick Fuentes and the world is just a little different.

The Cinnabon is located in a suburb in Green Bay called Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin. After the story went viral Cinnabon released a statement saying, “The individual seen in the video was immediately terminated by the franchise owner, their actions and statements are completely unacceptable and in no way reflect the values of Cinnabon, our franchisees, or the welcoming environment we expect for every guest and team member.”

According to NBC there was no official reason why the Cinnabon employee verbally attacked the couple but the Tiktok user gave their perspective about what went wrong between them. The user had asked for more caramel on her order but the employee started acting hostile, according to the caption, the interaction went along the lines of the server saying, “you could see me squeezing it through that witch craft bandanah you’re wearing on the top of your head (basically referring to my hijab).”

The identity of the worker was kept under wraps but considering the last clip of her was showing her middle fingers to the couple — the assumption was she would go into the wilderness with her shame. After all, it’s just recently when saying one wrong thing about Charlie Kirk could mean you have lost the career you had been working on nurturing up until that point.

However, almost without warning there was allegedly an online fundraiser that was dedicated to the former Cinnabon worker. Reports reveal that she has since been able to raise $100,000 and climbing as of Sunday night.

There have been multiple attempts to try and reach the former Cinnabon woman caught being racist on Tiktok but they have all been unsuccessful.
