This may simply be a pipe dream given EA’s lack of remasters, but fans of the Mass Effect series would surely be all for an updated release of its three acclaimed games. Commander Shepherd’s arc has gone down as one of the most beloved new IPs of the last generation, and while we wait for the next intergalactic excursion, it’d be nice to replay the first three in full 1080p with improved visuals and effects.

On a more personal note, I must admit that I’ve been quietly hoping for this project to be announced, as I’ve yet to actually play through any of the Mass Effect games. As a longtime gamer and fan of the RPG genre though, it’s something that I plan to rectify one day. If a remastered set was announced, it’d definitely give me the kick in the ass I need to dive into this acclaimed trilogy.
