Angry Birds Spinoff Bad Piggies Announced

Game developer Rovio's most successful work is far and away the mega-popular Angry Birds franchise. While the original title has already received several updates and sequels, along with a console compilation planned, the company's latest announcement and teaser trailer hint at something that may be a little different for their next title.

Game developer Rovio’s most successful work is far and away the mega-popular Angry Birds franchise. While the original title has already received several updates and sequels, along with a console compilation planned, the company’s latest announcement and teaser trailer hint at something that may be a little different for their next title.

Titled Bad Piggies, the new game looks to have more of a focus on the antagonistic pigs the birds have been flinging themselves into. Whether or not this means a different style of gameplay is too early to tell, as the only specific detail given by Rovio is a release date of September 27 on iOS, Android, PC & Mac.
