Angry Birds Star Wars Getting Console Release

Angry Birds Star Wars, the hit crossover title combining elements from the iconic movie series with the iconic mobile game phenomenon, has already been out for a while on phones, tablets, PC and Mac. Now, console owners are about to get in on the action as well, as Activision has announced plans to bring the game to every modern gaming console and handheld under the sun.

Angry Birds Star Wars, the hit crossover title combining elements from the iconic movie series with the iconic mobile game phenomenon, has already been out for a while on phones, tablets, PC and Mac. Now, console owners are about to get in on the action as well, as Activision has announced plans to bring the game to every modern gaming console and handheld under the sun.

With a scheduled release date of October 29th in North America and November 1st everywhere else, the upcoming, new edition of Angry Birds Star Wars will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Wii, Vita, and 3DS, with 20 brand-new exclusive levels being added to the original game’s 200, a two player co-op mode and competitive modes for up to four players.
