Assassin’s Creed Identity is on its way to iOS this month, and it’s taking us back to Renaissance Italy of all places. Sadly, you won’t be playing as the charismatic Ezio Auditore Da Firenze this time around, as Ubisoft has an all-new story planned for this mobile outing for the series.

As part of the release date announcement on their blog, the studio says you’ll be tasked with solving the ‘Mystery of the Crows’ through various quests and missions.

Assassin’s Creed Identity is on its way to the iOS App Store on February 25, 2016. This action-RPG assigns players the task of solving The Mystery of the Crows through a series of story missions and quests. To complete their mission, players will have to navigate through various cities of the Italian Renaissance – and some of their most famous landmarks – with a variety of control options, including touch-to-move, dual virtual sticks, or with a gamepad.

In addition to the brand new story, Identity will include a new class mechanic that will give the player more options when customizing their – as yet unnamed – Assassin.

Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Identity gives the opportunity to create a brand-new, novice Assassin from one of four classes – Berserker, Shadow Blade, Trickster, or Thief. As players progress through the game, so will their Assassin.

You can watch the announcement trailer for Identity above to get the gist of what it’ll be like to play, but you can be rest assured that it appears to follow a similar formula to past entries in the series. If you’re an AC fan, but find yourself always on the move – Identity looks like the perfect fit for those boredom-inducing hours on public transport.

Assassin’s Creed Identity will be available on iOS on February 25, requiring iOS7 and at least an iPad 3 or iPhone 5 model or newer to play.
