Taking up arms as Evie Frye once more, Syndicate‘s maiden add-on content takes place a full 20 years after the events of the mainline story, sending our heroine into the darker corners of Victorian London’s Whitechapel district as she closes down on the infamous maniac.

Per PlayStation Blog, Ubisoft Lead Mission Designer Benjamin Dumaz touched base on some the new gameplay elements that players can expect come next week, setting up for a riveting cat and mouse game between Evie and Jack the Ripper.

Today, with this new trailer, we have the privilege to introduce the deadly cat and mouse game between the serial killer and Evie. The meeting between the Assassins and Jack the Ripper is a dramatic one: 20 years after Jacob and Evie liberated London from the grasp of Starrick’s Templars, Scotland Yard is unable to catch the serial killer, Detective Abberline is calling upon Evie Frye to put an end to the Ripper’s terror.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate fans can look forward to the Jack the Ripper DLC launching across PlayStation 4 and Xbox One come December 15. PC, meanwhile, will get the story-centric expansion one week later on December 22.
