Asymmetrical Multiplayer Invades Dying Light In New Trailer

Wishing for one's survival during a zombie apocalypse is one thing, but doing something about it is another. Those who are serious about staying with the living during one such fictional apocalypse need to make sure that they have not only a good hiding spot or two, but also some trusty weaponry, necessary ammunition and, if possible, an unimpeachable friend. The good news is that you'll likely have all of those things at your disposal in Dying Light's newly-trailered asymmetrical multiplayer mode. That is, unless you're the one who chooses to be the big bad zombie, who can invade others' games and attack like the dickens.

Wishing for one’s survival during a zombie apocalypse is one thing, but doing something about it is another. Those who are serious about staying with the living during one such fictional apocalypse need to make sure that they have not only a good hiding spot or two, but also some trusty weaponry, necessary ammunition and, if possible, an unimpeachable friend.

The good news is that you’ll likely have all of those things at your disposal in Dying Light‘s newly-trailered asymmetrical multiplayer mode. That is, unless you’re the one who chooses to be the big bad zombie, who can invade others’ games and attack like the dickens. Granted, Be the Zombie is only going to be available to those who pre-order the game.

Showcasing intense action, adrenaline-pumping gameplay and some beautiful visual filters (including purple hues around lights, which show through the zombie’s perspective), this latest look at Dying Light easily impresses. In fact, each new gameplay montage we see makes the game look better and better. However, that just means that the wait keeps getting longer and longer.

Take some Zombrex and get ready to fight for your survival come January 27, 2015. Dying Light will escape captivity on that day and won’t take any prisoners.
