Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has used its cryptic Harley Quinn content hints to help build up suspense for today’s Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition announcement. The newly-revealed set will include the superhero title’s upcoming Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC episode, which was also confirmed today. However, fans can expect more from the set, including:
Alternate Skins
Catwoman DLC Pack
Robin DLC Pack
Nightwing DLC Pack
Batman: Year One Animated Movie (download)
Rocksteady‘s Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition will fight crime on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 starting May 29. However, folks who already own the game will be able to download its Harley Quinn’s Revenge content addition separately, from April 30 on. Apparently the date has been pushed forward since the set’s press release was issued, as that document states that the download will make its way to the two consoles’ digital marketplaces on May 29.
Here’s a plot synopsis for the new mission set:
The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters’ unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley’s vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
