Yesterday, Sony announced that if you purchase Batman: Arkham Origins on the Playstation 3, you’ll receive some exclusive content revolving around the Knightfall storyline. Now, we have details on what exactly this content will consist of.
Senior Producer Ben Mattes revealed that the content will include challenge maps that are tied to the storyline and include “appropriately themed characters and enemies.” Additionally, you’ll also receive the Azreal-themed suit and the “early television show skin.”
Mattes also revealed that the game will have “specific functionality” on the Wii U, but he would not give any further details.
“We’re not talking about specific features but we’re encouraging people to imagine,” Mattes said, “We obviously paid to attention to the Wii U platform and what sort of functionality makes sense for that platform.”
For those not up to date on their Batman mythology, the Knightfall storyline saw Bruce Wayne retiring after suffering defeat at the hands of Bane. As for the Azarel-themed suit? Well, Azarel was the one who replaced Wayne in the storyline. Finally, that early television show skin refers to the costume worn by Adam West, the actor who played Batman in the 60’s.
