If we learned anything from the cancellation of Star Wars: 1313, it’s that we really want to play as lovable rogues hunting down scum that are only slightly worse than them for personal gain.

The difference between that massive missed opportunity and a potential Suicide Squad game would be the chance to choose from a roster of super criminals as opposed to just the one. Temporarily tamed by Amanda Waller, the squad could be comprised of such luminaries as Deathstroke, Copperhead, The Riddler, Harley Quinn, Anarky, Deadshot and perhaps even a younger Red Hood.

There’s no shortage of worthy enemies they could take on. From extended shootouts with super-criminal fraternities like Intergang and Kobra in their underground fortresses, to a rooftop run-in with the infamous Secret Six, the concept lends itself to plenty of madcap adventures.

With the movie adaptation of Suicide Squad sizing up to be quite the box office hit (attracting considerably more positive attention than Batman V Superman), there really is no better time for this to happen.
