2) A Robin Game Set After The Arkham Trilogy

Batman and Robin’s relationship in Arkham: Knight is possibly the most complex and believable in the game. On one hand, Batman knows he has to start delegating more responsibility to his trusty disciple, who is now in his early to mid twenties, and has become a seasoned crimefighter in his own right.  On the other, he is Tim Drake’s father by adoption, and knows that losing another member of his family would mean the end of everything he has built.

With the game’s conclusion, more responsibility will have fallen on Robin’s shoulders than ever before. Nightwing has sworn to protect Bludhaven, and is therefore understandably absent. At the same time, the whereabouts of villains such as Clayface, Bane, Solomon Grundy, Calendar Man, Ventriloquist and Lady Shiva are pretty much unknown.

There are several recent stories that show Tim Drake taking responsibility for the safety of Gotham City and becoming a leader in his own right, while at the same time not stepping on the toes of Batman’s legacy.

This is also the right time to emphasize introducing new heroes (something that always felt somewhat unimportant in the original trilogy) such as Spoiler and Cassandra Cain, as well as new villains such as Prometheus, The Broker, and Tobias Whale.

Tim could even be the one responsible for creating the worldwide organization known as Batman Incorporated in the Arkhamverse (expect plenty of Teen Titans references should it ever happen). Honestly, it’s too good an opportunity to pass up – giving a world famous character like Robin his own franchise, as well as telling a fascinating story of Gotham after Batman.
