Now that only one week stands between Gearbox Software and its much-anticipated launch of Borderlands 2, the developer has decided to offer fans a look at the finalized version of its Mechromancer character class.

Visualized as a young redheaded girl with a robotic companion, the game’s previously-confirmed fifth vault hunter will be free to members of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club – an exclusive group that only those who pre-order the title will be allowed entrance to. Conversely, those who end up deciding against placing a pre-release deposit will have to fork over ten dollars if they wish to use this interesting-looking class.

The Mechromancer will be added into Borderlands 2 as downloadable content in mid-October.
