Instead of being set in the 1950s as it was previously, Nuk3town now takes on a futuristic look and setting that befits Black Ops III‘s narrative. The core of the map still seems to be intact, though, despite this technology-infused makeover. Gone, however, is the quaint and classic look of the map, and in its place is a slice of suburbia with plasma screens, futuristic vehicles and androids inside of its cul-de-sac. Well, that and wall-running soldiers.

Although I miss the 1950s vibe, as it’s always been my favourite historical era, I must admit that this futuristic take looks pretty neat. I’m looking forward to battling my way through it, and taking advantage of its holographic shuffleboard.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III will be released on November 6th. If you haven’t done so already, pre-order now to get in on the Nuk3town action.
