Activision has just announced that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Nuketown Zombies map will be included as part of the shooter’s season pass, in addition to its original status as a bonus for buying one of the Collector’s Editions of the game.

The Nuketown Zombies map will roll out to Xbox 360 season pass subscribers first in December, followed by the “other platforms” at an unspecified later date. If past Xbox 360 Call of Duty timed-exclusive DLC packs are anything to go by, this would indicate a January 2013 release Nuketown Zombies on the PS3 and PC.

The last official word that we heard on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC for the Wii U was that Activision and Nintendo were trying to work out a deal for a season pass. It seems unlikely that Nuketown Zombies won’t be released on the upcoming console at some point, but the safe bet for now is to assume it is not coming. We will let you know as soon as anything official is announced either way.
