Activision has released the official Call of Duty: Ghosts single player campaign trailer, which takes the franchise where it has never gone before. That’s right, a good old fashion shootout between US Air Force astronauts and terrorist astronauts on the International Space Station.
I suppose it had to happen at some point.
At any rate, the trailer explains that Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ apocalyptic setting is the result of something we trusted that was turned against us. In this case, it appears to be a USAF satellite that has the ability to rain down several massive “rods” across the contiguous United States. The giant phallic space weapons penetrated the Earth, devastated the land, and left the US open to invaders from “south of the equator.”
Oh, and the Ghosts‘ dog attacks and then brings down a helicopter single-pawedly! It is pretty impressive stuff.
