Capcom is bringing some of its old-school flavour to the Nintendo 3DS’ eShop, with Gargoyle’s Quest. It’s now available for download at an affordable price of $3.99.

Originally released for the Game Boy handheld system in 1990, Gargoyle’s Quest features Firebrand (Ghosts n’ Goblins) as the main star in its platform/action campaign. The character will also be making an appearance in the upcoming expanded title: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

As Firebrand, players must traverse the Ghoul Realm, building up their powers and abilities in an attempt to protect the land against evil King Breager.
