It’s been confirmed that Capcom will be showing off a brand new game at next week’s ComicCon convention in San Diego. We’re eagerly anticipating their panel and to hear about this new project, as there’s no clue as to what it could be at this point.
The World of Capcom panel will debut the new title, with much more planned. The Japanese gaming giant has promised to give us some more news regarding Dragon’s Dogma and will also be announcing some “fantastic news” regarding Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Rumors are that it could be some new downloadable content or a super version of the game, so fighting game fanatics should definitely mark their calendars.
A Resident Evil themed event is also planned, where there will be surprises relating to that series. Perhaps they pertain to the current gen remakes of former titles Code Veronica and Resident Evil 4, other announced projects, or a new entry into the series.
When it comes to Capcom projects, there are some I love and others that just don’t do it for me. I’m really looking forward to hearing about this new project, and am curious as to what it could be. I’m hoping for a new Onimusha game.
We’ll know later this month as ComicCon takes place between July 22 and 25.
