To celebrate the release of Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2‘s release this Tuesday, Konami has released a new trailer for the title.

As you would expect to see in a Castlevania trailer, there is a heavy focus on blood throughout. Whether it be the phrase “Blood Is..” popping up or the geysers of red liquid that squirt out of enemies, it certainly appears that there will be plenty of blood to go around in the game.

While there is precious little plot revealed here, we do get to get a glimpse at the wide variety of characters that will be showing up. Of course, Gabriel Belmont makes his grand return, but the likes of Alucard, Zobek, Carmilla and even Satan himself will be making appearances during your time with the game.

Even though I thought Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow came out much better than expected, I have to admit that this sequel kind of flew under my radar. However, MercurySteam proved that the series was in capable hands with the first entry and I’m sure that as long as it follows a similar blueprint to the original, this game will turn out just fine as well.

Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 will be available tomorrow, February 25, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Did this new trailer get your blood pumping? Sound off below!
