Despite being a mere rumor at this point, the game as reported by ThisGenGaming, is said to utilize the Unreal 4 engine and be a complete remake of the first entry in the series with four player co-op. News of the the new game engine suggests a partnership with Epic Games. Lending itself to the rumors is the return of series protagonist Frank West, who was absent in 2013’s Dead Rising 3 but is seemingly back for more zombie-slaying-picture-taking shenanigans.
