To celebrate this milestone, Capcom has released a new trailer for the remaster that focuses on the five playable characters included with the title. Those familiar with the original release already know how Dante and series newcomer Nero control, but most are probably interested to see how the returning faces play. Returning favorites Trish and Nero are joined by the newly playable Lady, and each of the three features their own unique play style.

Besides showcasing all of the furious action of Devil May Cry 4 in a blistering 60fps, the trailer also gives us a look at the improved Legendary Dark Knight Mode. A carryover from the original PC release, Legendary Dark Knight Mode constantly barrages players with waves of super-powered enemies. This mode is joined alongside fellow former PC exclusive Turbo Mode, which is also packed into the remaster.

With the release date officially set, the publisher has also revealed what gamers will receive for pre-ordering the remaster. While nothing too substantial is planned, gamers who pre-order will be treated to bonus costumes for both Trish and Lady. PS4 owners will also receive a bonus custom theme for pre-ordering the title.

Despite the fact that I wasn’t too hot on Devil May Cry 4 when it was first released back in 2008, I’m excited to return to it. If the improvements made here are equal to those that were made with DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, than this release could be among the best action titles released in 2015.
