DICE Confirms 10 Battlefield 3 Co-Op Maps

That Videogame Blog is reporting that DICE has confirmed that Battlefield 3 will ship with 10 maps for their co-op mode. We’ve known for a while that the game will include co-op but it’s nice to hear that we’ll be getting a healthy variety of maps to play on. No other details were given but with the October 25th release date drawing closer, hopefully we’ll get more information on the game’s co-op mode soon.

The way it’s shaping up, this one has GOTY written all over it. I really don’t see much getting in its way, aside from possibly Modern Warfare 3. Even then, I really don’t think Activision is going to turn many heads. The way its looking now, the game comes off as a MW2 clone with a revamped engine. I really don’t see much innovation coming from it.

Who knows though, both titles are still a few months out and anything can happen, right?
