With HD remasters being all the rage these days, I suppose it was only time before Corvo Attano showed up on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. At Bethesda’s E3 2015 conference tonight, Arkane Studios officially announced that Dishonored: Definitive Edition will be coming to current-gen consoles this fall.

Bringing together the complete Dishonored experience, the Definitive Edition will come packed with not only an updated version of the core game, but also all of the previously released DLC for the title. This means that both Daud-centered pieces, The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches will be included. The assorted challenge maps, and character upgrades will be also be packed-in.

Although HD remasters tend to get a bad rap these days, a re-release of Dishonored makes perfect sense to me. The original was beloved by most who played it, and with Dishonored 2 still a ways away, it should serve as a nice hold-over.

While it would have been nice to get a good look at Dishonored: Definitive Edition, we’ll just have to take solace with the fact that it will grace Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this fall.
