Take a look behind-the-scenes of Dungeon Defenders, as the folks at Trendy Entertainment explain the ideas behind their upcoming action-RPG/tower defence combination using a developer diary format. Their goal is to combine elements from various genres with a great amount of included, never before-seen depth.
From the looks of it, things are shaping up quite well. The gameplay looks strategic, fun, creative and chaotic. Of course, I’d be remiss without noting how colourful and nice-looking the game’s visuals are.
Excuse the poor audio quality, as the team at the indie development studio had a hard time finding a good microphone to use. It’s serviceable though.
Dungeon Defenders will be available for download on XBLA and PC on October 19. A PSN release date will be announced in the future.
